In Mexico a few weeks ago

Brink...

As prepped as I can be for my one way flight to Bangkok Monday morning.

Actually had a pretravel travel just now, to mexico. There were some difficulties in Mexico, not limited to including a nasty sunburn, the soles of my feet filled with nematocyst venom from coral or an anemone or something, so bad one night I couldn't walk, and ferocious internal battle in my gut with some kind of microbes, which I was losing badly for a week after I got back. There were, of course, many things that were great, despite the personal friction, such as the beaches, snorkeling in the reefs, the ruins popping out of the jungle, the cenotes, and the iguanas. And the yellow city Izamal.

Getting the nasty case of Turista was kind of humbling to me, so filled with scorn for germophobes and proud of my iron stomach. Hey, maybe Mexico was getting a lot of my travel troubles out of the way in advance.

Looking forward to traveling alone. Almost all af my road trips with friends or lovers have encountered pronounced difficulty. This will be better.
